Court Accessibility

The Somerton Municipal Court does not tolerate discrimination in any form against persons with disabilities and intends to fully comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Accommodations may include, but are not limited to: Making reasonable modifications in policies, practices, and procedures. Auxiliary aids and services, which are not limited to equipment, devices, materials in alternative formats, and qualified interpreters.

Please notify the Court at (928) 627-2722 or (928) 627-8152 at least 5 business days PRIOR to your court date of any services that may be necessary and reasonable accommodations will be provided.

Court Interpreter

If you have trouble speaking or understanding English, the Somerton Municipal Court will provide a court-certified interpreter for you. This service is provided free of charge to the public and is available for people who are not able to understand the proceedings in English.

The court's staff interpreter is fluent in English and Spanish and will provide language assistance in the courtroom for Spanish-speaking litigants. Please note that the court's telephones are staffed with personnel who are fluent in English and Spanish to take calls.
